Jóvenes Adelante is pleased to partner with local renowned artist Alberto Lenz, to support the Susi Beere Emergency Fund during the COVID-19 Crisis. His most recent series of 25 drawings, entitled "Connections," is the artist's response to the social isolation experienced during the months of April and May 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The first 13 drawings are offered now, to JA's supporters individually at a very affordable price, $4,500 pesos (200 USD), for each one, framed. Of course they can also be purchased in pairs or as a triptych.

The artist has generously offered to donate 50% of the sale of each piece to to the Susie Beere Emergency Fund of JA. Buyers will purchase from the artist directly, and the artist will make the donation to JA. Purchases are not tax deductible.

Susi Beere

About the Susi Beere Emergency Fund. Once in a while, a student finds him or herself in a financial emergency not of his or her making. Many of our current students, and incoming students will find themselves at the mercy of how well their institutions of higher learning adapt to the current reality, and how their families are impacted. It is Jovenes Adelante's intent to use all resources we can afford to support our students...whether via our normal support, or special funds from both the Susie Beere Emergency and the Betse Davies Special Stars Funds. In honor of Susi Beere's retirement after over the entire life of Jóvenes Adelante, we cannot think of a more fitting time to shore up the fund with your help.
